Scenes from a Bike
Like all good stories, this one also begins with a boy and a bike. And like all boys, this particular boy was eager to go out into the world and seek adventure, get laid and better understand the land. However, though he didn't know it that morning in July when he packed several kinds of nuts into neatly labelled bags and got on his bike, along the way he way he was going to find much more than what he sought. He was going to discover that there is something mystical and wondrous about those place without asphalt, that trees are alive, and that ESSO owns half the province.
In other words, he was going to discover the end of the world.
So on that rainy morning, he lifted 35 lbs of gear on his back, and set out on a 2,000 km journey that took him through fields, rivers and into the very heart of the wilderness. And from the heart of the wilderness, he wrote postcards and love letters to those he left behind. This is what they said ...
