Broken Cast
March 30, 2006
A couple of days ago I got a recording machine in my mailbox. Laura was really excited about it, until I told her what I was going to do with it.
“I’m going to record everything,” I said.
And she said, “You’re not taking that thing into bed with us.”
“Can I at least record the little bit at the end?” I asked.
She didn’t want to budge. So instead of recording the sound of throbbing bodies in the dark, I decided to stick to duller subjects. Like the sounds of my day.
Have a listen. This is my first podcast, and it’s exciting.
(Credit goes to Paul for the pee inspiration).
Update: There’s now an RSS feed, for those of you eager to add this podcast to your iTunes.

Posted by: karen on March 31, 2006 at 12:23 AMIt really scared me at the end when you said you were listening.

And yes Megan, i was talking about you. Specifically. I can hear what you’re saying.
The theme music you hear, by the way, is from Here and Now.

But it’s not a podcast until I can have iTunes fetch it automatically :)
Posted by: Paul on March 31, 2006 at 10:17 AMHahaha! Thanks for your encouragement, Paul. I’m going to have to teach itunes a lesson soon (via RSS feeds perhaps). Until the podcast will remain a broken cast :). ahem.
I just wish there was less talking.

As for wordpress, it’s supported out of the box (http://codex.wordpress.org/Podcasting). Hurrah.
