Put The Fun in Fundraising
August 18, 2005
There’s only one way to write a fun fundraising manual — go to a park on a sunny afternoon with a notepad and a pen and find a hard, sturdy bench. Write stories about cats, drawing meaningful connections between their mating habits and pleas for funds. “Be the cat,” say. “No one can resist the power of cute.”
After coming up with such a gem you can stare at the sky for a while with a satisfied grin. Then get right back to the task at hand. You have to write 10,000 words by Monday. That’s a lot of chatter about felines.
