Awake, Arise, Or Be Forever Fallen

August 07, 2005

I can see the first shades of sunrise through my curtains and I can hear those fucking annoying morning birds chirping away. Which is good — it means I only have three more hours to go before I say goodbye and fall asleep. Umm … sleep. The night has been interesting — I didn’t realize how hard it is to stay awake and write for hours, especially after two o’clock when the brain gets tired and won’t come up with new ideas.

Dull. Dull. Dull.

Thankfully, Corwin’s insomnia kept him reading my entries and even coming up with ideas. Next time I see you Corwin, I will hug you or perhaps poke you in the arm. Thank you for keeping me alert.

And I also want to thank my latest sponsors: Alexandra, Jason and Lyndsey. Your donations helped keep me awake at night. You’re lovely. (If you haven’t done so, you can still pledge.)

And now I’m going to throw aside my curtains and let some fresh air into my room. It smells in here. Kinda bad.

Oh, and one more note: other people are doing this crazy blogathon thing. Some of them are doing good things.
